SEKY Scholarship Fund Approved as a Kentucky Scholarship Granting Organization

Southeastern Kentucky Faith-Based Scholarship Fund has received approval as a Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO) in Kentucky as the Commonwealth prepares for participation in the new Federal Scholarship Tax Credit program.
Beginning January 1, 2027, eligible individual taxpayers may receive a federal tax credit of up to $1,700 for qualifying cash contributions to participating Scholarship Granting Organizations.
This new opportunity has the potential to bring additional scholarship support to K–12 students and families across Southeastern Kentucky.
First Scholarships Awarded to Southeastern Kentucky Students
August 2026
Southeastern Kentucky Faith-Based Scholarship Fund is excited to announce the awarding of our first three scholarships, representing $12,000 in scholarship commitments for students attending Cornerstone Christian School in London and Somerset Christian School in Somerset.
These awards mark an important milestone in our first year of providing need-based assistance to help Southeastern Kentucky families access Christ-centered K–12 education.
We are deeply grateful to the donors who made these first scholarships possible. Every gift helps open the door for another student.
