Program Overview
The Southeastern Kentucky Faith-Based Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to eligible students seeking to attend faith-based educational institutions.
Our goal is to expand access to Christ-centered education while maintaining a fair, objective, and accountable scholarship process.
Eligibility
Scholarships are available to students residing in Southeastern Kentucky who are seeking to attend or are enrolled in a participating faith-based elementary or secondary school. Eligibility is determined based on demonstrated financial need, including household income, family size, and other relevant circumstances.
Scholarships may be awarded on a conditional basis for students who are in the process of applying to a participating school, with final award contingent upon acceptance and enrollment. All scholarships are awarded using objective and nondiscriminatory criteria established by the scholarship committee.
Selection Process
The Southeastern Kentucky Faith-Based Scholarship Fund awards scholarships based on objective criteria including financial need and program eligibility and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, or religious affiliation.
Donors, contributors, and related parties do not participate in or influence the selection of scholarship recipients.
Use of Scholarship Funds
Scholarship funds are awarded for educational purposes and are intended to support tuition and other qualifying educational expenses.
Scholarship funds will be paid directly to the educational institution on behalf of the student to ensure appropriate use.
Reqirements and Continued Eligibility
Recipients are required to remain enrolled in good standing and continue meeting the criteria established at the time of award. The organization may request periodic updates, including academic or enrollment verification, to ensure compliance with program requirements.
Oversite and Accountability
The Southeastern Kentucky Faith-Based Scholarship Fund maintains oversight of all scholarship awards to ensure funds are used appropriately and in accordance with program guidelines. Procedures are in place to monitor compliance and address any violations of scholarship terms.
