Program Overview
The Southeastern Kentucky Faith-Based Scholarship Fund provides need-based financial assistance to eligible K–12 students who would like to attend participating faith-based schools in Southeastern Kentucky.
Our goal is to help make Christ-centered education more accessible while maintaining a fair, objective, and accountable scholarship process.
Eligibility
Scholarships are available to eligible K–12 students residing in Southeastern Kentucky who would like to attend a participating faith-based school.
Our Service Area
Bell, Breathitt, Clay, Floyd, Harlan, Jackson, Knott, Knox, Laurel, Letcher, Magoffin, Martin, Owsley, Perry, Pike, Pulaski, Rockcastle, and Whitley counties
Awards are based primarily on demonstrated financial need, including factors such as household income, family size, and other relevant circumstances.
Students who have not yet enrolled may still apply. Scholarship awards may be made conditional upon acceptance and enrollment at an eligible faith-based school.
If a scholarship is awarded for a school that is not yet a participating partner, SEKY Scholarship Fund will contact the school to begin the partnership and verification process.
Selection Process
Scholarship applications are reviewed using objective criteria, including demonstrated financial need and program eligibility.
Scholarship decisions are made independently. Donors, contributors, participating schools, and other related parties do not select or influence individual scholarship recipients.
All scholarship awards are made in accordance with our Non-Discrimination Policy.
Use of Scholarship Funds
Scholarship funds may be used for tuition and other qualifying educational expenses.
Funds are paid directly to the participating school on behalf of the student.
Recipient Requirements
Scholarship recipients must remain enrolled and in good standing and continue to meet applicable program requirements. Enrollment or other documentation may be requested to verify continued eligibility.
